For sale is an antique world map showing annual precipitation in various shades of gray. The map appears rather dark and the various shades are unfortunately difficult to distinguish from each other.
This map comes from the 'Meyers Zeitungs Atlas', which was published in several parts in the years 1849 - 1852. The detailed, steel-engraved maps from this atlas show the very high level of German cartography at that time.Item was printed in the year 1850 and is really antique, not a modern reprint.
Dimensions: 25 x 30 cm
Condition: good. Only some minor signs of age / use.
