The map features a panorama of Montereau, the coat of arms of the capital, Melun, and a portrait of a well-known Frenchman born in the department. The map is hand-colored. A very attractive map with lovely wide margins.
Dimensions: 22.5 x 28.5 cm
Condition: the map is in good condition (= some age spots, otherwise good)
Origin: La France et ses Colonies, published in Paris by Migeon (1851)
