For sale is a beautiful antique French map of the department of Aisne from 1870. The map features a panoramic view of Soissons, the coat of arms of the capital Laon, and a portrait of La Fontaine, who was born in the department. The map is hand-colored. A very beautiful map with nice wide margins.
Dimensions: 23 x 28 cm
Condition: the map is in good good condition (= some minor signs of age/use - paper is intact - in good overall condition)
Origin: La France et ses Colonies, published in Paris by Migeon (1870)
