For sale is a beautiful antique French map of the department Isère from the year 1870. The map is decorated with, among other things, a panorama of Grenoble, the coat of arms of Grenoble and a portrait of Bayard (= a famous Frenchman who was born in the department). The map is hand-colored. A very beautiful map with nice wide margins.
Dimensions: 22.5 x 28 cm
Condition: the map is in good condition (= the paper has some brown age spots but is completely intact - in good overall condition).
Origin: La France et ses Colonies, published in Paris by Migeon (1870)
