For sale is a detailed antique German map of China and Japan in the year 1863. Zoom the photos to see all the details. The map is a hand-colored copper engraving. At the bottom are the 18 provinces of China proper and a list of the other parts of the Chinese empire. The year 1863 is at the bottom of the title (the year 1850 is also in the title, which is the year this map was first designed). Nice wide margins and very suitable for framing.
Dimensions: 34 x 45 cm
Condition: minor signs of age/use: the map has a faint smudge in the bottom margin and some age spots in the margin. The sturdy paper is completely intact. In good general condition. Issued with a centre fold.
