Special antique map of Brazil from 1876. Special because the map can be folded out at the top. The map is very detailed and colored by hand. It is a French map and the prime meridian therefore runs over Paris and not over Greenwich as on all modern maps. Beautiful decorative title.
Dimensions: 56 x 59 cm (at the widest part)
Condition: The map is brown from the brown age spots, see the photos. The bottom of the fold-out section has fold lines and is curled. Small tear in the bottom margin. Issued with center fold. Price is reduced due to condition.
