Beautiful antique map of Southern Africa from the year 1866 (this year is also printed on the map). On the one hand, the map is very detailed, while on the other, the blank spots on the map clearly show that large parts of the continent had not yet been mapped. The routes of 5 different explorers, including Livingstone of course, can be found on the map. The map is a hand-colored copper engraving. Beautiful wide margins and very suitable for framing.
