For sale is a very beautiful French map of almost the entire Turkish Empire from 1780. Only the Arab part of the Turkish Empire is not shown on the map (see also the title). This 245+ year-old copper engraving was designed by Rigobert Bonne and comes from Raynal's "Histoire des deux Indes." It has nice margins all around and is very suitable to frame.
Dimensions: 24.5 x 36 cm
Condition: good/very good. With a vertical center fold, as issued.
