For sale is a beautiful antique world map in two parts from the year 1877. The map clearly shows that both poles were still undiscovered at that time. At the bottom are the years 1876 (Western Hemisphere) and 1877 (Eastern Hemisphere). It is a hand-colored copper engraving, printed on thick paper. Very suitable for framing.
Dimensions: Each sheet measures 36.5 x 46 cm. Side by side 36.5 x 92 c.
Condition: good (= small signs of age and use, but in good general condition). Both sheets issued with centerfold.
